Cutenews
Cutenews is a great way to let your visitors know what's happening with your site. Cutenews requires PHP and FTP so it is only availabe to subdomains and domains, sorry!
Firstly you need to download the file. Click here to download it. You will need to extract it and then make a file called cutenews in your ftp. Upload the whole thing into that folder and then you need to CHMOD the entire contents to 777 (if you dont know how to chmod, click here to find out)
Now go to http://www.yoursite.com/cutenews/index.php and you should see a list of folders/files listed with their CHMOD number. There should be a status and if it is writable then click proceed installation.
Set yourself up an account and then to post an update just follow the promts after logging in.
Important Note: To make sure people cant re-install your cutenews make sure you delete the install.mdu file. (in the inc folder)
I wrote these tutorials and made the images. Do not steal/copy/re-distribute them
